Bio-Pharma Laboratories Pvt. Ltd., established in 1957, marked BBM Bommidala Group's first strides towards diversification of business.

The same year, the company pioneered Solanesol Extraction and exports, and cemented its position with the acquisition of a factory equipped with German machinery capable of Molecular Distillation in Hyderabad in addition to a KD 6 Pilot scale unit for R & D on Omega 3 from Fish oil. In 2006-07, Bio Pharma revamped the Hyderabad firm and began KD300 operation of Fatty acids & Omega 3 Ethyl Esters.

BBM ventured into Nutraceuticals in 2009-10 with a vision to develop and manufacture high quality nutraceuticals for the global markets. Recognizing the exponential growth in, and the paradigm shift in preferences for wellness and nutritional supplements, the enterprise has added nutraceutical ingredients-vitamins, proteins and natural colors-to its growing portfolio.

The company, an ISO 22000:2005, Kosher & CERT ID approved facility, has a license to manufacture a range of products at the plant located in Hyderabad, India.

Besides developing and manufacturing in-house products, Bio-Pharma also provides contract manufacturing services to businesses, setting the highest standards for the supply of intermediary, finished and ready-to-commercialize products.
